A fetish is something that you need, to be aroused that is unconventional, different, precise. A few examples are feet fetish, role playing, costumes, a person who, for instance, must hold a baseball, wear a diaper, be hurt, inflict pain or have a non-consenting partner in order to reach sexual gratification. When you masturbate, you fantasize about that particular thing. Even if you have sex with a partner, you still need to fantasize about that object or have it present for you to get off.
